PROJECTS

06/2022 – Developing

STP marketing modeler
I write this package to accompany my blog. This STP marketing modeler utilizes ML techniques and data analyze and visualization.

05/2022 – Developing

E-Marketing-Explorer
I'm working with my partner, Kana, for design, implementation, test and release to Pipy of this Python CLI program.

10/2017 – 2022/04

Tianocore/edk2-platforms
My contributions is evangelizing SW engineers and technical leaders in OEM/ODM/Operator in Arm-based embedded world to adapt AARCH64 UEFI FW approach.

10/2017 – 2022/04

Tianocore/UEFI Self Certification Tests (UEFI-SCT)
I contributed to drive iterative update of this test suite for test bugs and new feature aligning with the new Arm v8 specs.

10/2017 – 2022/04

Firmware Test Suite (FWTS)
I contributed to drive iterative update of this test suite for test bugs and new feature aligning with the new specs..

10/2017 – 2022/04

Arm SystemReady ACS and certification
I've made my contribution including but not limited to, evangelist and enabler of the SR/ES certifications, driving Arm ecosystem partners adapt the BSA/BBR standard approach and engineering manager leading +6 engineers for the iteration of ACS test development

10/2017 – 2022/04

Arm BSA and BBR specification
I contributed to build enforcing and corrective feedback loop from Arm ecosystem communities to co-develop the specifications and drive the engineering team to implement the test suite aligning with the specs.

10/2020 – 2022/04

Apache Cassandra at Arm
I contributed to optimize Cassandra performance at Arm 64-bit Neoverse CPU by defining the most optimal SW stacks such as JDK and Python, OS kernel parameters, and the Cassandra configuration, and designing the benchmark for three common use cases of scale-up, scale-out and resilience. As a result, we increased performance by +30% at Arm compared with x86.

10/2017 – 2021/01

Linux UEFI Validation Project - luv-yocto
I drove the porting and development for AARCH64.

01/2016 – 10/2017

The manufacturing validation test suite and DFT process for MSFT OCP Project Olympus.
I contributed to design and co-develop the manufacturing validation test suite with worldwide ODMs and design for testing (DFT) process toward lean manufacturing discipline .

01/2016 – 10/2017

The manufacturing validation test suite for MSFT Azure SmartNIC.
My contribution was the maintainer for the manufacturing validation test suite for Azure SmartNIC to deliver hot-fixes and cold-fixes during production process and also the deployment features to accommodate different fabrication and assembly setup, process and pipeline across different contract manufacturers (CM).

01/2015 – 12/2015

SocialMiner
This was my side hustle open-source project with my partner Leon Yang. We architected and developed the entire front-end and back-end server SW package.

03/2012 – 02/2015

HP PC performance benchmark test suite
My contribution was the maintainer to deliver bugfixes and new features added during product implementation and production process and also find out the cause of the system performance issue by OS profiling and kernel debugging.

03/2012 – 07/2013

Query Expansion System
I wrote this software package to accompany my master thesis - web query expansion based on association rules mining with eHownet.

12/2014 – 05/2015

Parking Navigation AR
Parking Navigation AR is my side hustle open-source Android project aiming to explore AR technology and address my friends' problem of parking his and her car in the metropolitan cities by using their smartphone.

08/2007 – 02/2010

Intel Virtualization Technologies - VT-x, VT-d
My contribution was to enable x86 BIOS vendors' implementations such as AMI Aptio to use those CPU virtualization ISA and developed the validation kit and user guide for x86 PC OEMs/ODMs.

08/2007 – 02/2010

Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT)
My contribution was to enable x86 BIOS vendors' implementations such as AMI Aptio to use ARC-based MCU for the Intel® Management Engine (ME).

08/2007 – 02/2010

Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT)
My contribution was to enable x86 BIOS vendors' implementations such as AMI Aptio to use ARC-based MCU for the Intel® Management Engine (ME).

11/2008 – 02/2010
